Last Saturday (October 10, 2026), Cubicore successfully hosted the PacketHacks LoRaWAN Bootcamp! It was a full day of hands-on learning, diving deep into LoRaWAN using the Cubicore Gateway Pocket and the Cubicore DevBoard — all in preparation for the upcoming IoT Conference Philippines PacketHacks IoT Hackathon.

What participants built

Participants built an end-to-end LoRaWAN solution using TTN Sandbox as their LoRaWAN Network Server (LNS) and Cubicore Cloud as the IoT platform. They used the Cubicore Gateway Pocket as their LoRaWAN gateway, and the Cubicore DevBoard with a Temperature-Humidity Probe as their sensor.

Bonus: an AI-assisted developer workflow

As a bonus, attendees also experienced an AI-assisted workflow using PlatformIO and the Google Antigravity extensions in Visual Studio Code.

The next phase: ideation and prototyping

The next phase is ideation and prototyping. Good luck to all our participants! Watch their live demos and pitching on November 11 at the IoT Conference Philippines, Megatrade Hall, SM Megamall, Mandaluyong City, Philippines.
