Cubicore launches the Gateway Pocket: a compact AS923-3 LoRaWAN gateway for the Philippines

The Cubicore Gateway Pocket is a compact, affordable, portable dual-channel LoRaWAN-compatible gateway preconfigured for AS923-3 — built for students, IoT enthusiasts, prototyping, portable demos, and small-scale deployments in the Philippines.

We are launching the Cubicore Gateway Pocket, a compact, affordable, and portable dual-channel LoRaWAN-compatible gateway for students, IoT enthusiasts, prototyping, portable demonstrations, and small-scale deployments.

It connects to a LoRaWAN network server through Wi-Fi and ships preconfigured for the recommended Philippine AS923-3 operating settings, so compatible LoRaWAN devices work with minimal configuration once the gateway is on Wi-Fi.

Designed for portability

The Gateway Pocket fits in the palm of your hand and into space-constrained installations. Internal omnidirectional antennas for LoRa, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth are built in, so there is no external antenna to mount or align.

Key features

  • Dual-channel LoRaWAN communication
  • Optimized for AS923-3 LoRaWAN operation in the Philippines
  • Compact and lightweight design
  • Affordable platform for learning and IoT development
  • Wi-Fi network connectivity
  • Bluetooth provisioning for initial Wi-Fi setup
  • Uplink and downlink support
  • Pre-installed and preconfigured firmware
  • Two USB Type-C ports
  • Integrated internal omnidirectional antennas — no external antenna installation required

Who it is for

Classrooms and thesis projects, developers prototyping sensors, teams running field demos, and pilots that need coverage in one building or site. Full specifications are on the Cubicore Gateway Pocket product page, or email info@cubicore.io for pricing and availability.
