Arduino Day Philippines 2025, held on 22 March at STI Cubao, marked a milestone as we soft-launched our LoRaWAN Connectivity On-Demand service in the Philippines. The event let us showcase our LoRaWAN coverage programme and reinforced our commitment to democratising IoT development with accessible, cost-effective connectivity for students and developers.
A convergence of creativity and technology
Arduino Day celebrates the platform's impact on education and prototyping. The 2025 Philippine celebration featured a hackathon, project demos, and keynotes on sustainable, scalable hardware. Over a thousand attendees — from university students to seasoned engineers — came to explore new tools and meet industry practitioners.
Showcasing our gateway solutions
At the heart of our booth was a live demo of preconfigured LoRaWAN gateways and sensor devices. Students and developers got hands-on with plug-and-play kits:
- Multi-channel gateways covering urban and semi-urban areas.
- Battery-powered environmental sensors for air quality and temperature monitoring.
- Customisable dashboards for real-time data visualisation.
